COS II Aesculapius standing front, head to left, leaning right on serpent-entwined staff. BMC 88. Cohen 9. RIC 2. Nicely toned. Some horn silver and with traces of cleaning, otherwise, about very fine.

From a collection formed in the Rhineland from the late 1970s to the late 1990s, privately acquired from Dr. Walter Kimpel (with original dealer's ticket).
